Angina (Angina Pectoris)

Angina is chest pain or discomfort that occurs when the heart muscle doesn't receive enough blood and oxygen. It's a symptom of coronary artery disease, which is caused by a buildup of plaque in the arteries that supply blood to the heart.

Symptoms

A squeezing, crushing, or burning pain in the chest, usually behind the breastbone

Pain in the neck, shoulders, upper back, arms, jaw, or ear lobes

Shortness of breath

Weakness, fatigue, or dizziness

Nausea, vomiting, or sweating

Palpitations
